- Unusually rapid or circular transfers before a sale.

- Names that recur across disputed or cancelled titles.
Why it matters
A clean title in the wrong hands is still a bad deal. Understanding the ownership chain surfaces the fraud patterns that a single-point registry check can never reveal.
